MARKETPLACE POLICY

Terms for using AgriCentra

These terms set the plain-language responsibilities of AgriCentra, account holders, buyers, and sellers.

Founder policy draft · Version 0.1 · 21 July 2026

One responsible account holder

The account holder must be legally able to make the deal. A parent, guardian, or other responsible adult must own and manage the account for anyone who cannot legally contract on their own.

The account holder is responsible for the phone, login codes, profile, listings, messages, offers, and orders made through the account. Never share a one-time code.

AgriCentra connects people

AgriCentra helps buyers and sellers find each other and keeps an app record. Buyers and sellers make their own agreement and settle money directly off platform.

AgriCentra is not a bank, wallet, escrow service, delivery company, owner of listed goods, or party to the sale.

What may be listed

Launch categories are produce, eggs, honey, and live animals. “Live animals” means a whole living animal transferred at pickup; it does not include carcasses, cuts, or processed animal products.

  • Butchered or processed meat is prohibited.
  • Fish and seafood are prohibited until AgriCentra has the required compliance controls and written guidance.
  • Illegal, stolen, unsafe, misleading, or prohibited goods are not allowed.

Listings and user content

  • Use accurate photos, quantities, prices, locations, ownership claims, and descriptions.
  • Do not impersonate AgriCentra, its support team, an official, a verified person, another farm, or another business.
  • Only upload content you may lawfully use. Do not post private identity, bank, or contact information that is not yours to share.

What verification means

A verified badge means AgriCentra checked the named person’s identity and farm visit shown by that badge. A document label says only whether that document was submitted or checked.

Verification does not guarantee a listing, payment, delivery, animal health, product quality, ownership, legal compliance, or future conduct. Buyers must inspect current physical papers and goods before paying.

Reports and enforcement

People may report listings, requests, orders, harassment, animal-welfare concerns, and suspected scams. Reports are reviewed by a person; report count alone does not trigger an automatic ban.

AgriCentra may preserve evidence, contact the parties, limit or remove content, pause listings, restrict activity, or suspend or close accounts to protect people, the service, or comply with law. A reported person does not receive the reporter’s identity through the app.

Payment, delivery, and loss

AgriCentra does not receive, hold, verify, reverse, or refund payment. A payment screenshot or “payment recorded” state is buyer-provided information, not proof that money arrived.

To the extent allowed by law, AgriCentra does not guarantee payment, pickup, delivery, a refund, a chargeback, recovery, escrow protection, goods, animals, or either party’s performance. Keep the AC-XXXX record and follow the Safety page before money moves.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the service and legal requirements change. The version and date at the top identify the policy shown to you. Material changes should be explained before they apply.
